  "message": "tools/preprocessor: do not print the EOF end sentinel\n\nThe preprocess subcommand now appends the lexer\u0027s EOF token to the stream so\nthat ScanStream sees an EOF-terminated view (a truncated callable-macro call\nstops at EOF instead of running off the end of the stream view). ScanStream\nforwards that token, and the tool\u0027s print loop echoed it as an extra trailing\nnewline, which broke verilog-preprocessor_test. Skip the EOF token when\nprinting; it is a sentinel, not part of the source.\n\n",
